Rev. Timothy Biel, Jr., Pastor  Rev. Timothy Biel, Jr.

Our pastor, Rev. Timothy Biel Jr, has served St. Andrew U.M.C. since July of 2014. He specializes in Spiritual Formation and Congregation Development. Whether you’re looking for thought-provoking sermons, deepening your faith in a small group, a memorable wedding, baptism, or funeral, Pastor Biel provides.
Pastor Biel earned his degrees from Northwestern University: Garrett E.T.S. and North Central College.  These schools gave him opportunities to enrich his faith by learning from a diversity of leaders: Christian missionaries, archaeologists, and pastors, Jewish scholars, Muslim clerics, and Buddhist monks, feminist and LGBTQ advocates, playwrights, artists, and songwriters.  He welcomes interactions with all who are seeking the divine in this life.
When he isn’t active in church leadership he spends his time with his spouse, Victoria, and two fun-loving sons.  Together they enjoy organic-vegan gardening and cooking, lego creations, reading, and spending time outdoors.
Pastor Biel hopes you’ll look to St.Andrew UMC as a safe place to grow in your faith in community by following the teaching of Jesus Christ, as well as a place where God’s grace empowers us to be our best selves.
